View this email in your browser Canadian Geographic is excited to announce our summer exhibition, PRESSURE: James Cameron Into the Abyss On display June 5 — September 1, 2023  50 Sussex Drive, Ottawa Alex Trebek Theatre Exhibit hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.  Free admission On March 26, 2012, Canadian-born explorer and filmmaker James Cameron successfully piloted DEEPSEA CHALLENGER to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, the deepest known point in the ocean. Cameron was only the third person to reach the Challenger Deep, and the first person to do so as a solo pilot. Come explore the deep, the remarkable vessel that protected Cameron from its extremes, and the future of ocean conservation.  PRESSURE: James Cameron into the Abyss is presented by Canadian Geographic in partnership with the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition and made possible by the Avatar Alliance Foundation, with generous support from Rolex, National Geographic, Parks Canada and Meta.
