Luxury cruise line Cunard is proud to be the official cruise line of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. Cunard and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society each have a deep history and share a dedication to travel and exploration, with a great desire for cultural understanding. Experts from the RCGS will be featured on select 2023 voyages as part of Cunard's renowned InsightsTM onboard enrichment program. The RCGS headliners will be on every Cunard voyage in the 2023 Alaska season on Queen Elizabeth, from June through August, and on the Canada/New England voyage in September, from New York to Québec, on flagship liner Queen Mary 2.

In 2023, Queen Elizabeth will spend her summer in Alaska offering seven voyages roundtrip out of Vancouver, ranging from seven to 12 nights. Itineraries include scenic cruising through the Inside Passage, Glacier Bay National Park, Hubbard Glacier, Tracy Arm Fjord, as well as full days in several ports including Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Sitka and Icy Strait Point.
Cunard's new partnership with the Royal Canadian Geographical Society will feature experts on every voyage in the 2023 Alaska season as part of Cunard's renowned Insights enrichment program.
Speakers include CEO John Geiger, best-selling author, speaker and adventurer; Joseph Frey, scuba diver and former officer with the Royal Canadian Navy; Jill Heinerth, underwater cave diver, explorer, author and educator with a focus on coastal environments; Lynn Moorman, an expert in physical geography, advanced digital mapping and geospatial technologies; Canada's record-holder for time spent on space walks, astronaut Dave Williams; and extreme weather expert, George Kourounis who chases tornadoes and drives into the eye of hurricanes.
While Queen Elizabeth summers in Alaska, Queen Mary 2 will be sailing her signature Transatlantic Crossings between New York and England and Queen Victoria will offer voyages in Europe including the Norwegian Fjords, Atlantic Coast, and the British Isles. | | Sea Views, Celebrating 100 Years
World-renowned photographer and filmmaker Mary McCartney has curated a new photography exhibition for Cunard, Sea Views. The newly launched exhibition features never-before-seen imagery – some with celebrities and notables, some with current Cunard guests – but all evoking the glamour, serenity and emotion of sailing the North Atlantic throughout the last century.
The exhibition marks two key centenaries: Cunard was the first cruise line to introduce an onboard photographer 100 years ago and the first to sail a world voyage, on the RMS Laconia.
McCartney culled the Cunard archives as well as images submitted from guests – the result is a photography exhibition that takes viewers on a journey of 100 years through ocean travel. The online photography exhibit, which showcases never before seen images, is available to view at www.CunardSeaViews.com.
